As we wrap up another year and steady ourselves for the New Year there are some significant events that will impact the world we live in. The world you live in may be uncertain but you can have confidence as you step into another year. In this article I am offering my opinions and what I feel the Lord has spoken to me concerning 2010. Predictions can be unnerving but remember, God is ultimately in control and is able to give you safe passage through 2010. Walk forward in confidence not in fear. I encourage you to place your trust in the Lord Jesus. This is what I predict for 2010:

You will see many good opportunities come to you as you move through this coming year. After getting the facts, follow the intuitive prompt of your inner spirit when it comes to decisions. Remember you are on a journey through life. Although you have to deal with today's details think beyond these so that your focus in on your long term goals.

Take what you hear through media with a "grain of salt." News media coverage almost always focuses on disasters, turmoil, war and monetary instability because that sells their product. People are drawn to this type of coverage and a news center knows what captures an audience. However, over exposure to negative, frightening information can affect one's outlook and performance in life. I would like to suggest that you ration your media coverage, if you are easily influenced into a negative and a unproductive mental condition by media. You need your creative drive shifted into the forward gear, if you want to successfully advance this year.

Choices of alignment are very important this year. You will see important alignments on the political scene nationally and internationally. Personally, you also need to consider and if necessary take a careful look at who you are aligned with socially and in the work place. The rules of alignment will move beyond "whats good for me" into "what will be of mutual benefit to all partners." Give careful thought to how you proceed this year and how you are aligned. I predict for 2010 that you will be successful, if your alignments are right. Prayer and reflection will bring insight into resolving issues that you encounter.

Medical sciences will announce additional breakthroughs in cancer research this year. The medical insurance industry in United States will go through a time of adjustment as implementation of the US Health Plan goes into effect. It's success will prompt other nations that don't have coverage to move in the same direction. Remember, God wants to bless you with health and vitality so expect Him to use all the resources that are being made available.

I predict in 2010 that many doors of opportunity will open in the financial, educational, medical, judicial, political, religious and economic sectors. There will be rapid changes in each of these sectors so buckle your seat belt and transition forward with your faith in God. He will give you wisdom, favor and direction. Most of the investment world currently remains in fear mode and very reactionary but this will improve. Wisdom from the Lord is available if you ask Him about when to buy stocks or other investments. Confidence will advance you this year.

A continued call to integrity for leaders will impact government, business, law enforcement, military, judicial, medical, financial and educational industries. This call to integrity is being released by God and will expose those who are corrupt. We will see more of what has happened in the past year as these industries are scrutinized. Other high profile leaders in these sectors will be brought into accountability this year. This call to integrity will also promote those who align themselves with the principles of honesty and integrity. Churches, ministries and other religious organizations will not be spared this scrutiny by God either.

Security research firms will continue to introduce R.F.I.D chips. Radio Frequency Identification (R.F.I.D.) chips will continue to be implanted in humans with selected volunteer groups this year. You will see media coverage continuing to introduce these secure systems through the financial, banking, security, education and family services structures. The importance of these R.F.I.D. Chips is that they will eventually provide effective control of human goods and service activities. These devices will be efficient at doing this but the question of privacy and personal rights will be aggressively debated. Observe these test projects but understand that full implementation and human deployment will not occur yet.

There will be continued contention in the religious world over key issues that will pit liberal views against conservatives. Divisions will wreak havoc but new identities and churches will emerge and so the outcome may not be all that bad. Some will lose and others will gain parishioners. Angelic activity will be reported this year and not just in newspaper tabloids. Supernatural signs will occur within and without the church world. They will be deployed to help people in crisis situations.

The year 2010 will contain some unique challenges. Political tensions will continue in the middle east. New oil reserves will be discovered in northern regions. New drilling sites and production will come forward this year to ease supply. Iran will not push their demands beyond the possibility of a negotiated agreement regarding their nuclear weapons development. World economies will see gradual recovery but experience some stress and strain in the upward transition. Stand firm in the Lord and He will prove His faithfulness. In these predictions for 2010, I see God's resolve to give us safe passage through this year. Many people will feel pressure and stress but He is offering grace, wisdom and provisions to all who will ask for and believe in Him.
