General Tendencies for All Sun Signs
Our troubles could be returning in October with Mercury doing his retrograde in Scorpio throughout most of the month, and we will hit two eclipses in the process. Eclipses bring changes and Mercury's retrograde hates change, so many of us may find ourselves in some emotionally (and possibly even physically) painful situations. Luckily all of the stellar battles will be over by the time Halloween arrives, and we will have a few opportunities to wish on falling stars with the Draconid and Orionid meteor showers raining down above us.
October begins midweek on the 2nd quarter Moon, and we should find that we finish the week of October 1st in a rather uneventful manner. But, we will be ready to look to the future as the weekend of October 3rd begins.
Others may have plans for us on Friday, October 3rd, and Mercury will be at his retrograde station (the 1st degree of his retrograde) on Saturday, October 4th. So, we will probably hit the usual communication, travel, and computer problems associated with Mercury's retrograde. But, our energy will be electrified over the whole weekend with Mars and Uranus singing in harmony. We may hit a few delays and detours, but we will also be ready to make plans to improve our lives. It's ok to plan during a Mercury's retrograde, but those who try to put those plans into action before Mercury is finished may find the trickster will foul their undertakings.
The week of October 6th begins under the Pisces Moon, and Monday will be a very good day for creative projects. Intuitions will also be accurate.
But, the Sun and Uranus will be at a discord, which could cause mistakes and jerky energy through Tuesday, October 7th. Tuesday will be a tense day in general with the lunar eclipse only one day away, but Mars and Jupiter will be sharing energy giving us the opportunity to get some work done.
The lunar eclipse on Wednesday, October 8th, will hit total at 6:55 AM ET (3:55 AM PT), so those up early will get to see it. Venus and Pluto will also be battling on that day, encouraging some to rush to judgment. Also, the Draconid meteor shower will be raining above us on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so if we're lucky, we'll get to make a few wishes.
The Moon will be in mellow Taurus, and the Sun and Jupiter will be increasing our optimism as the weekend of October 10th begins. But, Venus and Uranus will be at a stand-off, encouraging impulsive behavior and mood swings, especially late Friday and early Saturday, October 11th. The Moon will enter Gemini Saturday morning, and we should find the rest of the weekend to be very productive. Saturday and Sunday will be excellent days for friends, games, and shopping.
The Moon will still be in Gemini as the week of October 13th begins, and we should find that the day and the week begins on a busy note. People should be friendly and lighthearted on Monday and Tuesday, but on Tuesday, October 14th, we may also find our nerves are edgy with the Sun and Mars shaking hands.
Wednesday, October 15th should prove to be a temperate day under the 4th quarter Cancer Moon.
Thursday, October 16th, may signal a time for change. Mercury, moving backwards, will cross in front of the Sun on Thursday, reaching the half-way point of his retrograde. Many may feel confident about new ideas, and they may want to put those ideas into action. But, if they do, again, the trickster will be waiting for them. New projects (including relationships) begun under a Mercury retrograde are likely to fizzle out or turn in an unexpected direction.
Most will be in a pleasant mood as the weekend of October 17th begins. The Moon will be in playful Leo, Friday and Saturday, and it will be a great time to take in a show, or maybe just rent a video. A nap may also prove to be useful. The Moon will enter clinical Virgo on Saturday evening, October 18th, and we will probably be ready to do some cleaning and scrubbing through Sunday evening. Sunday will also be a very good day to express how you feel to a loved one with Venus and Mars joining forces.
The Moon will still be in Virgo as the week of October 20th begins. Mercury will be shaking hands with Jupiter on Monday. This could turn trips into adventures, and short calls could turn into detailed conversations. Also, many will be able to get down to the details of any project on Monday, but on Tuesday, October 21st, the Moon will enter gracious Libra. Tuesday will be a very balanced day, but things could go at bit haywire on Wednesday morning. Also the Earth will be passing through the Orionid meteor shower on Monday and Tuesday, so be sure to look up to the night sky. It is very likely you will see a falling star. Wednesday and Thursday, October 22nd and 23rd, could turn out to be tense days with a partial solar eclipse on Thursday. Also the Sun and Venus will enter Scorpio on Thursday, so use caution when approaching situations. People could be touchy, and tempers are likely to blow.
Mercury will be turning direct on Saturday, October 25th, so the whole weekend of October 24th could bring mishaps and mistakes. Those traveling may hit delays and detours, and watch out for internet screw-ups. Double check important transmissions such as banking transactions. Saturday is also the Islamic New Year, and a few of the party plans will not go as scheduled.
The Sun will enter Sagittarius and Mars will enter Capricorn on Sunday, October 26th, and many of us will be ready to roll up our sleeves and enjoy the work ahead of us.
Friendship, romance, and beauty could be on our minds as the week of October 27th begins because Venus and the Sun will be dancing with Neptune. It will be a great time for redecorating and making new friends. There could also be some romance in the air.
The Moon will be in hard working Capricorn on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 28th and 29th, and it will be a very good time for getting organized and for dealing with authority figures.
The Moon will enter Aquarius on Thursday morning, October 30th, and many will be ready to celebrate Halloween. The Moon will still be in unique Aquarius on Halloween Day, October 31st, and we should expect some unusual tricks this year, and probably some very original costumes. In fact, this Halloween could get very exciting with Mars and Neptune dancing together, so get out and have some fun.
We will have more meteor showers in November (the Leonids), and we will get to sleep a little later with the end of daylight savings time. But, Mars will be battling with a few of the outer planets, and Uranus and Pluto are going to be aligning for another conflict. Check back next month to find out more.
