It's a time of year when Leos need to give serious consideration to their finances. Over the last few months you've been thinking about other things - for example leisure and pleasure - and your monetary position may have declined. But there's no need to worry. Just don't let your pride get in the way of common sense, especially in the first week of September. Spending money on expensive clothes and other luxury items doesn't impress anyone. It's YOU that matters, not the packaging.

On September 8 there's a New Moon, and you have a chance to embark on a brand new venture that can do wonders for your finances. But you'll have to be careful, not to mention modest and discrete, and if you play it right there'll be no regrets.

By mid September, you'll find that an increasing amount of your energy needs to go into your home. I'm not sure if this is a good thing. Domestic concerns could drive you round the bend, and you might reach a stage where you feel completely stuck. Your home and family could be like a black hole, drawing you further and further into their midst. Under these circumstances it's important that you don't spend too long in one place, that you also give yourself plenty of room to breathe. While all this is going on, the Sun, your ruler, is moving to an 180-degree aspect with Jupiter. Jupiter is the planet of exaggeration and excess, and you could be encouraged to do something stupid. You might, for example, over-react to a very ordinary situation -- or make a commitment that is beyond your capabilities. You therefore need to be level-headed, and you must avoid impulsive behaviour.

In your love life, I doubt there's much going on, especially at the beginning of the month. But from September 23 on, there might be some improvement. It's all about getting your message across, with the emphasis on clarity rather than passion.
